As Congress returns from recess, PAMAC makes further appeal to contact elected officials about need for relief
CALL TO ACTION
We have all felt the collective tremor of the news that one of our coalition's biggest agencies, Columbia Artists, shut down last week. As time passes by and cash runs short, the need for a Congressional relief plan for the arts sector has never been more urgent. We must continue to lobby our legislators to impress upon them the dire need for economic support for our industry. Now that they have returned from their August recess, it is vital that we continue contacting our representatives to approve our policy asks—without their support, it is likely that many more businesses in our industry will have to close their doors.
